Important: If the duration shown on the question paper is different from the one on the timetable, candidates should follow the time stated on the question paper.

WAEC Art Students Should Check the Timetable by Date

One mistake students often make is searching for only one subject name and ignoring the rest of the timetable. That can be risky. A student may come to check Literature and forget that English, Civic Education, a language subject, or another registered paper is also close by.

The WAEC timetable shows that several dates are packed with important papers. For example, 1 June 2026 has Christian Religious Studies and Islamic Studies. 4 June 2026 has Government and Music 3A (Aural). 10 June 2026 has the full English Language papers. 11 June 2026 has Literature-In-English, and 17 June 2026 has Economics.

That is why it is safer to read the timetable date by date instead of jumping around carelessly.

When WAEC 2026 Arts Papers Start

For art students, some relevant papers begin from the earlier arranged oral period between Monday, 27 April 2026 and Friday, 8 May 2026. During that period, Arabic 3 (Oral) and French 3 (Oral) are listed, and WAEC clearly states that the exact date and time for those papers will be arranged by the Council.
